This is a truly good papertowl holder. I was originally intending to get one that had a bar which went through the entire tube at the center, since I was looking for something that remained stabled even when there were only a couple sheets left on the papetowl tube. My old holder couldn't hold the tube while allowing me to rip off one of the last remaining sheets with one hand. And if the papertowls hadn't been rolled on the tube perfectly, the towls would frequently fall off if I tried to rip off a sheet with one hand. This holder is every bit as good as the bar type holder, without the hassle of most bar type holders. It's very stable and easy to load with a new roll. And the stainless steel goes with most any kitchen color scheme.

I have had this product for 4 years now and absolutely love it. It is chic and goes with my black and stainless steel appliances. I have not experience any problems with the whole roll coming off if the dispenser. I would recommend trying it for yourself.

This is a great under the counter towel holder. It is true that with some paper towel brands, this paper towel holder may deliver more or less towels than preferred, but that is the fault of the towels used, not this holder.
I purchased this holder for my office. We use Kleenex or Brauny at the office. The towels have nice perforation, so there is never an issue.
I tried to find this towel holder for my house, but could not at the time, so ended up getting a Simple Human under the cabinet unit, which is not as good as the Prodyne. The reason I like the Prodyne better is that with two screws the unit is attached to the cabinet/wall for good. Our simple human towel dispenser has come off the wall a couple of times until we finally used powerful glue in addition to the screws.
The Prodyne is easy to load, simple and works perfectly with towels that have nice perforation.

I got on the Internet today specifically to try and find another one of these paper towel holders. We recently moved into a new house and brought with us the holder like this we had at the previous house. The new house has a sink in the utility room and we wanted a paper towel holder in there, too. We've looked at all the local stores and couldn't find this same model but I've found it here. This is the absolute best paper towel holder I've ever seen. I find it strange that other reviewers have a problem with the towel roll coming off. My wife and I specifically love this holder's design because the roll DOES NOT fall off. You have to bend the empty tube in the center to get it to come off or bend the flexible steel away from the tube. This is the only product review I've ever written. This is a worthy product.

I had purchased this item from another retailer. Then they no longer carried it. Paid more but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I purchased 2 one for the kitchen and one for the shop. Might even purchase more. The paper towels stay in place and don't run off the roll for-ever. Would deffinately recommend.
